Obverse description Central group depicting the Holy Kinship: the Virgin Mary crowned and standing, holding the Christ Child, flanked by St. Anne, with the legend divided by the figures reading SAN and NA on either side. Below the central figures, the quartered arms of the Schlick family appear in an ornate shield. The surrounding legend reads HEINRIC.SCHLICK COMES.A.PASAN, identifying Count Heinrich Schlick as the issuing authority. The overall composition is executed in high relief in the late Renaissance style characteristic of Bohemian coinage of the early seventeenth century.
