Obverse description Half-length armored effigy of George Frederick I, Margrave of Brandenburg, facing right, his right hand raising a marshal's mace over his shoulder. The figure is rendered with fine engraving detail typical of early 17th-century Silesian coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with the abbreviated Latin legend commencing at 12 o'clock and reading clockwise around the border.
