| Obverse description | Armored draped bust of George Frederick, Burgrave of Kirchberg and Count of Sayn-Hachenburg, facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed cuirass and lace cravat. The effigy is set within a circular border, with the surrounding legend naming the subject and his titles. A four-line inscription in the exergue records his birth date of 3 March 1683, his marriage on 9 May 1708, and his death on 14 August 1749, concluding with the pious epitaph REQUIESCAT IN PACE. |
