| Reverse description | Elaborately mantled and quartered arms of the Bishopric of Hildesheim, surmounted by a large princely crown above a draped canopy, with a crozier and sword crossed behind the shield as symbols of ecclesiastical and temporal authority. Decorative baroque mantling surrounds the escutcheon, and the mint-master's initials I•H• and V•U• appear in the lower field flanking the shield. The exergue bears the value and fineness statement X STÜCK EINE FEINE MARCK and the date 1766. The peripheral legend CONCORDIA STABILI • encircles the upper field. |
