Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Friedrich Wilhelm IV, King of Prussia, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair swept back from the forehead. The truncation of the neck is cleanly cut. The circular Latin legend runs along the inner border of the toothed (dentilated) rim, with the mint mark 'A' for the Berlin Mint appearing at the base of the obverse field.
