Reverse description A large, ornate crowned cartouche-shaped heraldic shield bearing the multiple quartered arms of the Hohenzollern dynasty, including the arms of Prussia, Brandenburg, and associated territories, rendered in fine detail. The royal crown surmounts the shield at the top center, depicted with elaborate jeweled arches and a cross finial. The date 17-19 is divided across the upper field on either side of the crown, and the mint master's initials I•G•N appear in the lower exergue beneath the shield. The broad, open silver field surrounding the achievement lends the design a majestic, formal character.
