Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Duke Frederick V facing right, crowned, with beard and long hair, wearing an elaborately engraved cuirass and lace collar. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the armour's chased decoration. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with the Latin legend running continuously around the outer border.
