Reverse description Elaborate crowned heraldic achievement of the House of Salm-Kyrburg displayed at center, the quartered shield surmounted by a princely crown beneath a draped canopy. Two wild men, serving as supporters, flank the arms on either side, each standing on a decorative base. A chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspends below the shield, and a floral ornament appears at the base of the composition. The mint marks B, F, and N are positioned in the lower exergue area, flanking a small decorative star. The circular Latin legend referencing the Convention standard of coinage runs along the upper periphery, with the date 1780 inscribed at the right.
