Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Frederick I, King of Prussia and Prince of Neuchâtel, facing right, rendered in high relief in the baroque manner with flowing long wig and armoured shoulder pauldron decorated with scale motifs. The initials I·P appear in the lower field beneath the bust truncation, likely denoting the die engraver or mint official. A circular Latin legend runs along the inner border of the coin, reading FRIDD G REX BOR ET ELS PR AC NEOCET VAL, identifying the ruler by his royal and princely titles.
