Reverse description A standing stag in profile facing left, depicted naturalistically, positioned beside a tall column or pillar surmounted by a cross, the entire device set upon a rectangular pedestal bearing the letter 'S'. The composition is rendered in fine relief in the baroque tradition characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century German thalers. The circular legend surrounding the central device, reading clockwise, states the coin's value and standard of fineness in German, referencing the Conventions-Fuss monetary standard. The date 1764 appears in the upper portion of the legend.
