Reverse description A crowned double-headed Imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by an individual crown and both crowns united beneath a central Imperial crown above. The eagle's breast bears a quartered shield depicting the combined arms of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty, including the Austrian fess, surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The date appears in the upper field flanking the crowns, and the continuous Latin legend naming the emperor's royal titles encircles the design.
