Reverse description Blank fields on all sides of this square klippe planchet, with no devices, legends, or inscriptions present. The surface shows the characteristic irregular marks and tool striations of a hastily produced emergency siege piece, struck under wartime conditions during the Thirty Years' War. The plain reverse is consistent with the expedient nature of this type of coinage, where the entire design content was concentrated on the obverse.
