| Obverse description | Draped bust of Francis William of Wartenberg facing right, wearing a cardinal's biretta and ecclesiastical robes, with flowing curled hair and a beard visible at the chin. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine drapery detail characteristic of mid-17th century German taler coinage.
