Reverse description A winged putto standing to the left before a raised platform, upon which rest a large open book and a terrestrial globe, symbolising learning and the arts. The putto holds a palm frond in his left hand and gestures toward the scholarly emblems; a laurel wreath crowns the composition above. The date is divided to either side of the central group, the mint mark below, and the value inscription X • EINE FEINE MARCK appears in the exergue in two lines, denoting the coin's fineness as one-tenth of a fine mark.
