Reverse description The reverse presents a large decorative laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow, enclosing the four-line German inscription ZUM BESTEN DES VATERLANDS in bold raised lettering at center, translating as 'For the Good of the Fatherland.' The date 1795 appears at the lower left and right flanking the wreath base, while the mint name BAM BERG appears on a ribbon at the top of the wreath tied with a decorative bow. Below the wreath in the exergue area the fineness statement ZEHN EINE FEINE MARK is inscribed, indicating ten coins to the fine Cologne Mark. The whole is contained within a beaded border.
