Obverse description Conjoined busts of Ferdinand William Eusebius, Prince of Schwarzenberg, and his consort Maria Anna facing right, Ferdinand depicted in the foreground wearing an elaborately draped mantle over armour, his flowing allonge wig rendered in high relief with finely detailed curls; Maria Anna appears behind in simpler attire with a pearl necklace visible at her décolletage. A heraldic shield is partially visible at the lower right. The circumferential legend reads FERDINAND ET MARIA ANNA, divided by mullets, within a finely milled border.

Reverse description Two oval crowned armorial shields displayed side by side at the centre of the field, the dexter shield bearing the quartered arms of Schwarzenberg and the sinister bearing the arms of the Landgraviate of Sulz, both surmounted by princely coronets and supported by cornucopiae as external supporters. Floral and foliate ornaments fill the lower field between the shields. The date 1696 appears divided across the upper field flanking a decorative crown motif, with the Vienna Mint mark (MM) placed at the base. The circumferential legend PRINCEPS·A·SCHWARTZENBERG·HÆRES·LANDGRAVIA IN SULZ reads continuously around the coin within a milled border.
