| Obverse description | Armored draped bust of Ferdinand III facing right, wearing a broad, multi-layered ruffled lace collar and elaborately decorated cuirass with floral motifs visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque style typical of the St. Veit mint. The surrounding legend reads FERDINAND III D G H B REX, distributed around the inner border of the coin. |
