Reverse description Elaborately quartered coat of arms displaying the heraldic devices of Hungary, Bohemia, Castile, Leon, Austria, and Burgundy, with an escutcheon of Upper Alsace superimposed at center. The shield is encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece in a U-shaped arrangement. The peripheral Latin legend is interrupted by two small subsidiary shields, that of the Habsburgs to the left and Ferrette to the right. A small mintmaster's mark 'M' appears near COM, and large towers are visible as design elements.
