| Reverse description | The reverse features a plain, unadorned field filled with a seven-line commemorative inscription in Roman capitals recording the key events of Ferdinand II von Fürstenberg's appointment: his election as Coadjutor of Münster on 19 July 1667 (AN. MDCLXVII XIX. IVL.) and his confirmation on 30 April 1668 (AN. MDCLXVIII XXX. APRIL), concluded by the Fürstenberg family motto SVAVITER ET FORTITER (Gently and Firmly). A continuous Latin legend surrounds the central inscription along the rim, completing the commemorative text begun on the obverse. |
