Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Ferdinand I facing right, the wreath tied at the nape with a ribbon bow. The emperor's hair is rendered in fine parallel strands beneath the laurel. The circular legend surrounds the portrait, with the mint mark A positioned in the lower field below the bust truncation. The toothed border frames the entire design.
