Reverse description The entire reverse field is occupied by ten lines of German text in a neat calligraphic script, presenting a devotional verse on the spiritual significance of baptism invoking God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit, followed by multiple scriptural references including Galatians 3:26-27, Titus 3:5, and 1 Peter 3:21. The mint city 'Gotha' and the date '1670' appear on the final line of the central inscription. A continuous circular border legend in German, derived from Mark 16:16, runs along the outer rim: 'WER GLAVBT VND GETAVFT DER WIRD SELIG WERDEN'. A beaded inner border separates the field text from the outer legend, consistent with the obverse treatment.
