Obverse description Central ornate quartered coat of arms bearing the arms of Ratzeburg on an inescutcheon, superimposed upon two crossed croziers in saltire. The shield is surmounted by a bishop's mitre, and the date is divided across the field to either side of the shield. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition.
