Reverse description An elaborately detailed Ausbeute (mining bounty) reverse depicting, in the upper field, a standing stag beside a tall mining windlass or winding gear surmounted by a cross, with a mine building to the right and a hunting horn with anchor to the left. The lower half of the coin displays a panoramic bird's-eye view of an open-cast or drainage mining scene with timber sluice frameworks and ore workings. The motto legend SPES NESCIA FALLI (Hope that knows no deception) arcs across the upper field, while the date in Roman numerals MDCCXV and the mintmaster's initials I.I.G. appear in the exergue.
