| Obverse lettering | ✥ CHRISTINA : D : G : SVEC : GOTH : VAND : REGINA (Translation: Christina, by the grace of God, Queen of Sweden, the Goths, and the Wends.) |
| Reverse description | Crowned, ornately decorated heraldic shield bearing the quartered coat of arms of Queen Christina of Sweden, flanked by elaborate baroque scrollwork and foliate ornamentation. The shield is of square form with curved lower point, supported and framed by scrolled cartouche elements in the style characteristic of the Swedish imperial period. The date is divided and incorporated into the legend, which runs around the periphery of the design. The overall composition reflects the formal dynastic display typical of 17th-century Scandinavian-influenced German civic coinage. |
