Reverse description A curved composite heraldic shield displaying the quartered arms of Schwarzburg and Hohnstein, supported on either side by two wild men (Wildmänner) holding banners or standards. The shield is surmounted by three ornate great helms with elaborate mantling, the central helm topped by a crowned lion. The mintmaster's initials appear in the field flanking the shield. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, with the date 1687 concluding the inscription.
