Obverse description Central quartered shield of arms displaying multiple heraldic lions passant and other dynastic charges across nine fields, surmounted by five ornate crested helmets with elaborate mantling and floral and animal crest devices. The central and tallest helmet bears a ducal crown. Two supporters flank the shield on either side. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the inner border of the coin.
