Obverse description Elaborate quartered coat of arms of Brunswick-Lüneburg occupying the central field, displaying multiple heraldic quarters including lions passant, a lion rampant, and other dynastic symbols. The shield is surmounted by a large princely crown flanked by two ornate crested helmets with mantling. Two lion supporters flank the achievement on either side. The circumferential Latin legend reads CHRISTIAN.LUDOVICUS.D.G.DUX BR:ET LUNEBURG:, identifying the ruler as Christian Ludwig, Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg by the grace of God.
