The mintmaster's initial S appears in a small circle at the base of the shield. The date 1780 is divided at the sides of the mantle, with the digits 17 to the left and 80 to the right. The peripheral legend ZEHEN EINE FEINE MARK, indicating the fineness standard of ten to the fine mark, runs around the upper field within a toothed border. |
