Obverse description Two facing oval medallion portraits side by side at center: on the left, a draped bust of Count Christian August of Solms-Laubach in profile facing right, and on the right, a bust of Countess Dorothea Wilhelmina of Reuss facing left, their hands joined above by a divine hand descending from clouds. A circular legend surrounds the field in Latin, naming both subjects with their full titles. Below the portraits, an inscription records biographical dates including birth and death dates. The composition is in a formal Baroque allegorical style consistent with mid-18th century German commemorative medallic art.
