Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Prince Charles William right, wearing a flowing curled periwig and ornate armor with elaborate lace cravat, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The effigy is portrayed in a strongly naturalistic style characteristic of early 18th-century German thalers. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, running along the outer rim of the coin.
