Reverse description The double-headed imperial eagle displayed at center, with wings spread and each head surmounted by an imperial crown joined by a single arch bearing a larger crown above. The breast of the eagle bears an elaborately quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg dominions, enclosed within an ornate baroque shield. The date appears prominently at the top of the field, flanked by the commencement of the legend. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the design, referencing the emperor's titles as Archduke of Austria and Duke of Burgundy and Styria. The engraving is bold and finely executed, consistent with the high standards of the Graz Mint during this period.
