Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Elector Charles Theodor facing right, his hair dressed in loose curls with a prominent queue, wearing elaborately decorated armor with floral ornaments and a draped mantle over the left shoulder. The circular legend runs along the coin's periphery, interrupted at the base by the mintmark 'A' positioned in the lower field beneath the bust truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the baroque court style typical of late 18th-century German coinage.

Reverse description A crowned oval cartouche bearing the tripartite arms of Pfalz, Bavaria, and the imperial orb, flanked symmetrically by two upright palm branches. The date appears in the lower exergual area beneath the shield. The entire composition is set within a circular legend denoting the coin's fineness standard, and the crown surmounting the shield is rendered with fine detail consistent with electoral heraldic convention.
