| Reverse description | A crowned oval cartouche bearing the tripartite arms of the Electorate of Bavaria, combining the lozengy field of the Palatinate, the blue-and-white fusils of Bavaria, and the imperial orb of the Elector's office as Imperial Vicar. The shield is flanked symmetrically by crossed laurel and palm branches, symbolising civic and military honour. The date of issue appears in the lower portion of the field, divided by the mintmaster's initial 'AS'. The encircling Latin legend references the Convention of 1753, establishing the coin's standard weight and fineness. |
