| Obverse description | The central device features the manifold quartered arms of Stolberg, flanked by the divided date and mintmaster's initials in the field. An oval cartouche below the shield bears the value denomination 1 1/3, flanked by the inscription FEIN and SILB indicating fine silver content. The peripheral legend names the joint ruling counts in abbreviated Latin lettering. The overall design is executed in the baroque heraldic style typical of late 18th-century German territorial coinage. |
