Obverse description Armored bust of Margrave Charles Alexander of Brandenburg-Ansbach facing right, depicted with a powdered wig tied at the nape, wearing elaborately engraved plate armor with a decorative gorget and a mantle draped over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detailing on the cuirass. The circumferential legend reads C•F•C•ALEXANDER•D•G•M•B•D•B• & •S•B•N•C•S•G, incorporating his full titulature by the grace of God. The field is smooth, and the coin is bordered by a fine milled edge.
