Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Elector Charles Albert facing right, wearing a long flowing periwig and a chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece at the neck, with an electoral crown partially visible at the lower left. The legend is rendered in Latin abbreviations and runs along the periphery, interrupted at the top by the effigy. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner, with finely detailed chasing on the armor and drapery.
