| Obverse description | Central field features an equestrian statue of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, depicted in dynamic pose with outstretched arm atop a rearing horse, set on a raised pedestal. A heraldic shield bearing an eagle is positioned in the upper left of the field. The arc legend ИСТОРИЯ ВОСТОЧНОЙ ПРУССИИ (History of East Prussia) curves along the upper rim within a beaded border.
