| Obverse description | Central field displays a complex heraldic composition featuring the quartered arms of the County of Solms surmounted by a radiant sun face crest, flanked by two elaborately mantled supporters. The lower portion of the field contains an oval cartouche incorporating the mint mark and date elements. The surrounding legend, struck in Latin, runs continuously along the inner border within a beaded rim, referencing the joint rule of Counts Wilhelm and Reinhard of Solms-Braunfels and Hungen. |
