Reverse description The elaborate quartered coat of arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, surmounted by multiple ornate ducal helmets bearing elaborate crests including a lion, a harpy, an antler arrangement, and additional heraldic charges, all flanked by exuberant Baroque acanthus-scroll mantling filling the field. The divided date 17-14 appears in the lower field to either side of the shield base, with the mintmaster's initials H.C.H. beneath. The motto legend PARTA TUERI arcs across the upper portion of the reverse field.
