Obverse description Central field depicts the biblical scene of Jacob wrestling with the archangel, rendered in high relief with dynamic baroque figural composition. Jacob, shown in period dress and kneeling, grasps the winged angel in a firm embrace, while rays of divine light emanate from the upper left background. An inner circle border separates the central scene from the surrounding legend. The bilingual legend encircles the design, combining a Latin devotional phrase with a German inscription and the biblical reference Genesis 32:27, the German text reading 'Ich lasse dich nicht' (I will not let thee go) positioned within the lower field.
