| Obverse description | Eight-fold quartered coat of arms of the six co-ruling Counts of Stolberg, surmounted by three elaborate crested helmets with mantling, the central helmet bearing a crown. The date 1575 is divided by the helmets. A circular Latin legend surrounds the field, naming the six counts: Albert George, Christoph I, Wolf Ernest, Botho, John, and Henry XXII, with the titles of the ruling comital house. The coin is struck within a beaded border. |
