| Obverse description | Draped bust of Abbot Adolphus von Dalberg facing right, wearing a richly decorated ecclesiastical cope adorned with elaborate floral and foliate ornament, with a lace cravat visible at the neck. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style, with the subject's curled wig falling to the shoulder.
