Reverse description Elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg, surmounted by a large electoral-style crown, supported on either side by rampant lions as heraldic supporters, the whole set upon decorative baroque mantling and cartouche work. The mintmaster's mark 'W' appears on a small shield at the base of the composition. The circumferential Latin and German legend denoting the fineness standard and date encircles the design within a toothed border.
