Reverse description The central field bears the Roman numeral X surmounted by two small floral ornaments, denoting the coin's fineness standard of one-tenth of a fine Cologne Mark, with the denomination inscription EINE FEINE MARK in two lines below, and the date 1796 beneath. A dotted inner border frames the field. The surrounding circular legend, reading from the base upward on both sides, states the silver's origin: AUS DEN GEFÆSEN DER KIRCHEN UND BURGER, referencing the melting of church and civic plate to strike the coinage.
