| Reverse description | The central field displays a boldly rendered ornate cross patée with elaborately decorated curved arms, each terminating in stylized fleur-de-lis-like points and embellished with foliate garland motifs filling the angles between the arms. Small rosettes appear at the junctions of the cross arms and in the interstices of the design. The central cross device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The outer legend, reading NOMEN DOMINI TURIS FORTISSIMA with the date 1762, runs clockwise and is punctuated by small rosette stops, all within the reeded outer border. |
