| Reverse description | Central heraldic composition featuring a large shield bearing the imperial double-headed eagle, supported on either side by elaborate cartouche-style mantling. Two flanking escutcheons display the arms of Schwäbisch Hall: on the dexter side a crowned cross, on the sinister side a mural crown above a saltire. The entire achievement is surmounted by olive or laurel branches and framed by scrollwork, with the mint master's initials CGL appearing below the central shield. The circumferential Latin legend MONETA NOVA REPUBLICAE HALAE SUEVICAE C.G.L. runs around the periphery within a toothed border, with a floral ornament at the base. |
