Reverse description An armored equestrian figure, representing a triumphant nobleman or allegorical knight, rides a rearing horse to the right, trampling a prostrate fallen enemy figure beneath the horse's hooves in the lower field. The scene is rendered in high relief with considerable baroque artistic detail, evoking themes of virtue and nobility overcoming adversity. A cartouche in the lower exergue bears the mintmaster's initials GFN. A German-language motto legend in capital letters encircles the central design within the milled border.
