| Obverse description | Central crowned city arms of Einbeck comprising a helmeted shield bearing a rampant lion above a detailed depiction of the city gate and fortified church building with towers, all rendered in high relief. The helmet above the shield is surmounted by an elaborate ornate crown, with richly scrolled baroque mantling filling the field on either side. The circular legend surrounding the design reads MONETA - NOVA - EIMBECENSIS, separated by decorative stops, and is contained within a beaded inner border. |
