| Obverse description | The central field displays the papal coat of arms of Clement XII (Lorenzo Corsini), featuring the Corsini family shield charged with diagonal bars, surmounted by the papal tiara and flanked by the crossed keys of Saint Peter tied with a cord, all rendered in the ornate Baroque style. The shield is elaborately mantled with foliate and scroll decoration. The circular legend reads CLEMENS XII P·M, distributed around the periphery with separating dots, in capital Latin letters. |
