The tiara with three crowns and the crossed keys of Saint Peter surmount the shield. The circular Latin legend reading CLEMENS XII P·M·ANN·IIII· runs along the periphery, flanked by a finely milled border. |

| Reverse description | A large, elaborately ornamented Baroque cartouche with bold acanthus and scroll flourishes at the corners occupies the entire field, enclosing the four-line devotional inscription QVÆRITE VT ABVNDETIS in Roman capitals with the date in Roman numerals MDCCXXXIV below. A small heraldic shield, believed to represent the mint mark of Rome, appears at the base of the cartouche. The composition is contained within a finely milled border, with no peripheral legend. |
